Alright, here it goes. I am going to attempt to keep some form of a journal, but I decided to make it a blog instead: one because I think having it on the computer will help me to commit to writing it and two because I don't have to be as at risk of someone finding a "journal" per-say. It is already out here for the world to see. Anyone who really wishes to read it is welcome to, but I am still allowed to remain anonymous which is appealing for someone like me who is new at this sort of thing. Now I am not going to promise greatness, it is my fist blog and I am not intending to write this for a following but rather as an outlet to personal growth. Plus, I should warn you that I am not very good at sticking to things like this. I have never in my life been able to keep a successful journal.
No one really tells you about the trials and tribulations of creating one of these blogs. I mean first... what do I name it?! This may seem trivial, but definitely a crucial decision to me. So I decided to use a line from one of my favorite songs. We will see if anyone can guess... if they are so inclined. Another decision I found extremely difficult was what background to choose. I mean what do any of these decisions mean to me? Do they matter in setting the tone of your blog? What does everyone else do? There didn't seem to be many choices. So... I decided upon one with shelves filled with books because I absolutely love to read.
So in any case here it is. Where it all begins. Wish me luck!
